Stig Kjellin was born in Boras in 1914 and was largely self taught. During the 1940’s he exhibited throughout Sweden and after the war in Gothenburg (1945 and 1955) in Malmo in 1947 and at the prestigious and influential Gummersons Gallery in Stockholm in 1949. He traveled widely throughout Europe and died in 1979.
